The Restaurant is a true fine Dining experience, featuring French-inspired cuisine and
an excellent wine list . . .

Dinning RoomWelcome to the Nehalem River Inn Restaurant. We are so pleased you have decided to share in our Dream. When you come to eat or stay with us, we feel as if you are a guest in our home, probably because we live here, but also because it is our desire that each person enjoy their time here as much as we do.

The Dining Room and Outdoor Patio offer a wonderfully intimate dining experience. Our menu features organic produce and the highest quality meats and seafood from local and international sources. The French-inspired fare is seasonal, and the menu changes regularly to reflect the changing seasons. Our wine list is made up of high quality local wines, as well as offerings from premier locations around the world.

Reservations strongly recommended. Due to our desire to provide our guests with the highest level of intimate dining service, we do not permit children under the age of 12 in the dining room.

A Note from the Chef

I hope you enjoy the food as much as I have enjoyed learning how to make it for you. I have spent the past several years learning from inspired culinarians who were kind enough to share their passions and skills with me.

I believe in food without borders and without restrictions. The ingredients themselves tell you what to do with them. If we start with perfect ingredients and passionately strive to express their nature, I believe the result carries more than the sum of its parts.

I have worked for many renowned chefs, including Bradley Ogden (Multiple James Beard Award Winner) and Carl Schroeder, Ginza Hiyashi (Japanese Master Chef). What all of them shared in common is a belief that 100% of the dish must be perfect or it is an utter failure. Because of this, everything that is on your plate is either made by my hands or made by nature. My dishes are made by blending traditional tecniques with the best ingredients I can find.
Bon Appetite
